Preliminary Schedule, subject to slight changes based on guest speakers’ availability:
From Idea to Radio Telegram (24th January 2023) with radio reporter Jesper Nondal & Head of News Oliver Rønning from P3 Nyheter, NRK.
In this session you will get an overview on how to find relevant stories, bounce ideas with colleagues and write a short text for radio production.
Interview Techniques (31st January 2023) with Isabelle Swahn, Head of News at P3 Nyheter, Sveriges Radio
Here we will build upon our previous session and learn how to interview people. Asking questions is the basic of producing news but there are tricks to ask good questions that make news reporting easier and guarantees quality answers from people who might not be used to speaking on radio. Isabelle Swahn is the head of News at P3 Nyheter, Sveriges Radio (Swedish public service radio) and has many years of experience working with fast news, reportages and even documentaries.
Reportage making – Sound in focus (7th February 2023)
This is where we really focus on sound quality and more complex pieces such as reportages.
